Words cannot express the gratitude I have for University Houses Preschool. What they have done and continue to do for us is beyond what I ever could have dreamt up. The classes are small, so our child has hardly been sick at all, gets to know everyone well, and has made such wonderful new friends. He is learning so quickly from the incredible team of teachers, who are always learning themselves and finding new opportunities for everyone to grow. They are outside every day, parents can donate time in exchange for reduced rates... The list of reasons to check this place out goes on and on.
We love UHP! Our 3-year-old has been attending since this summer and has become more independent and confident, and is learning so much! I love hearing him singing the songs he learns at school and talking about how much he loves Miss Jennie.
University Houses Preschool has been a wonderful place for my son! He has developed social skills, made friends, and learned more than I can believe in the short time he has attended. Their programming is personalized, resourceful, and creative, encouraging kids to be imaginative and playful as they learn.
Our two youngest children attended UHP and It got them off to a great start. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Miss Karen is wonderful! All of the important things are covered, paramount among them good sharing and play. We highly recommend UHP!
We are so happy with UHP. It is a wonderful introduction to school, and to life and interactions outside the home. The classes are small and mixed age, and the teachers are very skilled and caring. All kids attend half days, so while that worked great for us, it may not be for every family. But aside from that, scheduling is very flexible and has many options. Many parents choose to be involved as classroom helpers or in other ways, and the community of parents is wonderful.
We’ve had a wonderful experience with UHP. Love that it’s a cooperative and has the option for parents to be helpers (and observe how patient and compassionate teachers are firsthand). We also love the Facebook updates in the private group to see what our child has been up to.
We had a wonderful experience. Our son loves the place and still talks about the school and the teachers. They provide personalized and very interactive care.
An excellent partial day daycare. The staff are capable, the facility is well maintained and helping out is very rewarding.
This is a wonderful preschool with caring teachers. I have had two children attend and would highly recommend it.
Our son started at 3 yrs old and is attending his 2nd year at UHP. He loves his community of friends and we love the community of families!
UHP is an incredible place for kids and their families. The kids get a wonderful, safe, caring place to be themselves with plenty of learning, playing, and outside time! The staff is second-to-none and every day is a new adventure for everyone.
In a word: amazing.
Our son has attended for the past two years and it has been a wonderful experience. UHP is such a special community which fosters learning through play in a fun, safe, accepting and loving space. I am constantly in awe of these gifted teachers and how they consistently communicate in ways that resonates with these little people. This is especially true when it comes to working thought conflicts with others and dealing with big emotions. Additionally, I love that they make a big push to get a chunk of time outside every day, rain, snow or shine. We have watched our son flourish here and we recommend UHP to all of our friends without hesitation or reservations.
Such a happy school! The teachers and directors have a great rapport with the kids, and help the students form a helpful, friendly community with each other. My son is eager to go every day, and UHP has been a wonderful introduction to school life!
I can't imagine a more warm and loving place than UHP. My daughters have loved attending this preschool. The teachers truly care about the kids and help them develop both socially and emotionally. My oldest started Kindergarten this past fall and UHP gave her all the tools she needed to be successful.
